Joseph J. Zaverella, 23, of Willowbrook Drive, was charged by state police with third-degree grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property. A woman reported jewelry stolen from the trunk of her car and an investigation revealed that Zaverella entered the trunk and sold the items, valued at more than $3,000, to a local pawn shop.
